Its technology includes a graphic system layer called Presentation Manager that manages fonts, windows and icons. It has the Workplace Shell [WPS] that is an object-oriented shell allowing you to perform traditional computing operations such as printers, file access, launching legacy applications, advanced object-oriented jobs using third-party and built-in application objects that made it an integrated shell version. Its SQM [System Object Model] represents folders, disks, program objects, files and printers that enables code to be available for sharing among applications with possibly different programming languages. Its document technology is called OpenDoc developed with Apple. It is no longer in development. Its Media Control Interface commands provides access to its multimedia functions.
