ProShow, created by digital imaging company Photodex, is a line of software program offerings for photography professionals and enthusiasts. A photo slideshow software program, it comes in three versions: Gold, Producer, and Web. Anyone who has photography for a hobby can start with ProShow Gold, the consumer-level version. It features tools for customizing styles and motion effects in photo, video, or music slideshow presentations. For finished projects, this program also has a built-in CD and DVD authoring capability that accepts MPEG, QuickTime, and Flash formats. ProShow Producer, the more complex version, is suitable for professionals. It features more advanced editing capabilities such as keyframing and masking. And just like Gold, it has built-in tools for CD and DVD authoring. Lastly is ProShow Web, which is accessible online for creating video slideshows that can then be shared via social networking sites such as YouTube and Facebook.
