Quadruple D Archiver is the archiving utility built into the Quadruple D (Do the DirectDraw with Delphi). Quadruple D is a DirectX library for Delphi developed by “SANDMAN”, a Japanese programmer. It is widely used by Japanese game programmers and is in fact the graphics library for Japanese PC games written in Delphi. DirectX library provides a set of application programming interface (API) that users can utilize to create high performance multi-media applications and games, including support for 2D and 3D graphics. The archiver utility combines a number of files together into one archive file, or sometimes creates a series of archive files for easier transportation and storage. The DirectX library archive files are given the .QDA extension file name, which means that these files were created by the Quadruple D Archiver and can be opened only by using the same utility.
