TrID

TrID is a utility tool that identifies types of files sourced from binary signature. It is comparable with similar applications that work with hard coded logic but this particular program has not set rules. This means it is extensible and can identify new formats quicker and automatically. This software is valuable in data forensic analysis, file retrieval and identification of malicious files on email. Identifiable file types are constantly being added to the TrID database making it very dynamic and up to date. TrID is made simple for uses to use. Running the TrID will analyze a certain file, read it and compare it with identifiable file types and definition on its database. It works with TrIDScan to collect class files and indicate path location. This software can run with Windows ME/ XP and Windows 95 / 98 / 2000.
