Damon Courtney developed InstallJammer for developers to use when creating an executable installer for their application. This application was distributed under a GNU Public License with the full source codes for all versions freely available for other developers to study and customize. The software functions in Windows as well as in any Linux distributions or most versions of UNIX. This install kit builder has a variety of themes for skinning the Installation Wizard. It can create self-extracting installers for Windows 98 and newer, FreeBSD, Linux x86 and x64, Solaris, HP-UX and AIX. The last stable version was released on October 2010. The Documentation and Developer Guide for this GUI software still exist online for developers to visit or download. Because it's an Open Source application, other software developers are free to use InstallJammer as a jump-off point for an expanded version with additional functions and a sleeker design.
