Developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Electronic Arts, Black and White 2 is a video game that uses real-time strategy and god elements. It features a Heads-Up Display (HUD) system that gives notifications to inform players on the status of their creature, like its state of mind, effects of their action, and many others. Interaction in the world is made through the player's hand, in which they have an option to pick-up elements like trees, food, people and influence the ground. Players cast miracles which has various uses, the 6 ordinary miracles which can either be thrown or poured, are the lightning, water, shield, fire, meteor and heal. The 4 epic wonders are hurricane, volcano, earthquake and siren, Prayer power or Mana is needed in certain amount from the player's believers to invoke this. The player has a creature which he trains and its personality is whatever the player prefers it to be. There are three possible paths that players can take in the game, Good, evil or neutral. An evil god causes fear, torture, conquest and destruction, the good god is benevolent, looks after the populace and defends them. The game features different tribes which includes Egypt, Norse, Aztec, Japanese and Greek.
