Microsoft Agent Character Editor

Microsoft Agent Character Editor

Microsoft Agent Character Editor is a tool which was developed by Microsoft with the goal of assisting its users to edit their Microsoft Agent which is a compilation of software that gives its users the capability of incorporating animated characters in an interactive manner which is usually being used in some applications and often times with a web page. The Agent Character Editor gives its users the capability of setting the name for their MS Agent while at the same time giving it a short description. The software also consists of an interface allowing its user to control the MS Agent’s behaviour. It enables its user to assemble different types of character animations to be used for their Agent. a word of warning

Be careful not to rename the extension on .ACS files, or any other files. This will not change the file type. Only special conversion software can change a file from one file type to another.

what is a file extension?

A file extension is the set of three or four characters at the end of a filename; in this case, .ACS. File extensions tell you what type of file it is, and tell Windows what programs can open it. Windows often associates a default program to each file extension, so that when you double-click the file, the program launches automatically. When that program is no longer on your PC, you can sometimes get an error when you try to open the associated file.
